Denise has more than 25 years experience providing communications and strategic support across infrastructure planning and construction. Her exceptional skills in strategic communications and community and stakeholder engagement for environmental assessments and other statutory approvals have been utilised across a diverse range of major infrastructure projects.

Denise’s key skills and capabilities lie in clear and effective two-way communication, including; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; development, coordination and implementation of marketing and communications materials and channels; community relations; advocacy and stakeholder relations programs, and; strategic plans.

Denise is a highly experienced and in demand independent mediator recognised for her ability to resolve disputes and negotiate appropriate solutions for sensitive or contentious issues on complex projects. Denise’s unique skills enable her to manage relationships between key stakeholders of competing points of view. These skills have seen her act as independent chairperson for a variety of infrastructure project community groups including the Lane Cove Tunnel, Legacy Way in Brisbane and the North West Rail Link.

Denise also undertakes market and community research in preparation for community engagement, and has the capability and experience to achieve a high level of community participation using appropriate methodology. She is able to deliver proactive, hands-on strategic planning support through traditional and online engagement, using the IAP2 standard. A highlight of Denise’s career is having worked on every major tunnel project undertaken in Sydney over the past fifteen years.
